Sewing Room Christmas Ornament

Some people have a favorite room, and for a sewist it is the one with the machine in it. This round wood ornament is engraved with a sewing machine and the words "This is my Happy Place," a sweet little sign of where she loves to be.

Why it makes a good gift

• For a mom, grandma, or crafty friend who loves to sew
• A thank you for a seamstress, quilting teacher, or sewing mentor
• A birthday surprise or small token for a fellow maker
• Hangs on the tree in December, then moves to the sewing room as a studio sign
• Ties onto a wrapped gift as a keepsake tag, or hangs from a rear view mirror

Size and finish

Round, about 3 inches across. Engraved on natural wood and left unfinished, so it can stay natural or be painted or stained.
